In collaboration with British writer, editor and publisher of classic pony fiction, Jane Badger Books, the Paard Verzameld Christmas Challenge was to create a cover for a classic pony book ‘Dream of Fair Horses’ by Patricia Leitch.
“This is one of the paintings I can go on with forever. Really enjoyed doing my thing in my own style, but yet different than what I’m used to.”
“For this one I worked with watercolour on new linen I’m trying out for Claessens Canvas, without watercolour-ground. I only used 2 colours ‘raw umber’ and ‘olive green’.”
